CAS GOLD EXPEDITION [SKIING ⛷️]
Our first-ever CAS Gold Expedition Winter Edition - Skiing was an absolute success! The expedition took place from 18 to 26th February 2024 in Tsugaike Kogen, a beautiful resort in Hakuba Valley, Japan.
Twenty Cempakans took the 9D8N challenge to learn skiing and immerse themselves in Japanese culture through various activities. This once in a lifetime experience gave us unforgettable memories of the beauty of Japan, the feeling of absolute freedom skiing down the slopes, the team-bonding activities, the magic of cultural exchange, the snowball fights and igloo-making, the hypothermia rescue training and many, many more. SPARTAN RACE MALAYSIA
Cempaka School made history at the Spartan Race, proving that determination, teamwork, and unwavering spirit can lead to remarkable triumphs. With an impressive contingent of 75 participants, Cempaka School emerged as the winner of the biggest school award, showcasing their exceptional fitness, resilience, and unity.
CAS PLATINUM EXPEDITION 2023
CAS Platinum Expedition is the Ultimate Test for Cempaka Schools students.
Comprising of Survivor, Iron Man, Amazing Race, Fear Factor, Cutthroat Kitchen and multiple other events, the CAS Platinum Expedition aims to prepare the participants for all aspects of life. It offers a unique concept that is unmatched by any of our other expeditions, nor of a program any other school would offer.
The 2023 Platinum Expedition was hosted in Cherating with a two-day-long AMAZING RACE which finished in Cempaka Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. During the Amazing Race, participants had to complete numerous tasks in 60 checkpoints. In the process they visited Kuantan, Genting Highlands, Selayang Hot Springs, China Town, Merdeka Square, KLCC, Chow Kit and many other iconic places. Participants had to use different modes of transportation such as van, cable car, LRT Train and Bus.
The two of the rarest medals in Cempaka Schools, for Best Participant and Best Survivor, were awarded to Josiah Chong and Nur Alif Nashreen.
CAS Gold Expedition 2023 to Mt Kinabalu
We are happy and proud to announce the successful return of the CAS Gold Expedition to Mount Kinabalu! After 3 long years, Cempaka Schools' flag flew once again atop of Low's Peak (4095m).
Twenty-five students took on the physical and mental challenge of climbing to this altitude.

The Platinum Expedition returned home safely at 12:30 AM on 21 July.
During the 5-day intense program, the participants tested their knowledge, skills and physical capabilities in the four main Platinum Expedition Challenges - Survivor, Iron Man, Fear Factor and The Amazing Race as well as in the Cutthroat Kitchen, The Running Man, War Games, Beach Games, ATV Adventure, Craft Project and others.
CAS Silver Expedition 2022
We are proud to announce that our first CAS Expedition after the 2-year-long break was an absolute success!
The expedition took place in Redang between 17 and 20 May 2022.
Fourteen students went on a journey to explore the underwater world and certify themselves as a PADI Open Water / PADI Advanced Open Water Divers, a license recognized in every part of the world and valid for life.
CEMPAKA RESCUE • FORTIUS SOCIETY
Cempaka Rescue offers Emergency Response Training and Education to students who are passionate for helping others.
We aim to prepare a team of young heroes to act with confidence in most emergency situations by applying various rescue techniques and use of equipment.

Do you know what is it like to be above the clouds? To be so close to the stars? To be at the highest point of South East Asia?
Sixteen brave Cempakans went on a Journey to 4095m, the summit of Mount Kinabalu, to find out. They went on a mission to proudly raise the flag of Cempaka Schools high above the clouds and they have succeeded! But that achievement did not come easy. The students have gone through one month of intensive training specially designed to prepare them for the trip.
Gold Expedition to Mount Kinabalu is not a regular expedition. It is one of the most rewarding but also physically and mentally challenging ones. When climbing, as the altitude increases, the barometric pressure decreases, resulting in less oxygen for us to breathe. Oxygen is the fuel that runs our body and its insufficiency makes even the smallest and slowest step very difficult.
Interestic fact: Altitudes above 4000m are categorized as "Very High" and the percentage Effective Oxygen drops from 21% to 12,3%.
The best view comes after the hardest climb!
CAS Platinum Expedition
Cempakans from both Damansara and Cheras campuses went on a 4D3N life-changing expedition, organised by Cempaka Sports Department, in Terengganu. Team Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta "shipwrecked" near the magnificent coast of Kapas Island, "lost" everything and had to survive solely with the clothes on their backs. Creating a rain-proof bivouaac with materials found around the island, finding nourishments to cook over the self-made fire and facing their fears was only Day One. We will reveal no more, join us on our next adventure to experiece life. The motto "SURVIVE. ENDURE. EXPLORE." speaks for itself.
Edexcel GCSE (9-1) Physical Education
Now offered in Cempaka!
We are delighted to announce the latest addition to our academic curriculum. Cempaka Schools is now offering Edexcel GCSE Physical Education course and examination to all Junior 1 students.
The Edexcel GCSE Physical Education is the best introduction to the Sport Science and it is suitable for all Cempakans interested in any sport-related field, such as: Sport science, coaching, sports management, sports medicine, physiotherapy, sport psychology, physical education, public sector and others. It is also a great addition for students taking IGCSE Biology to broaden their knowledge and area of expertise.

Silver Expedition - Scuba Diving 2019
Cempakans went on a 4D/3N quest to explore the magnificent underwater world of Redang Island and obtain PADI Open Water Diving License.
Cempaka Schools offers Expeditions of different levels and with different objectives to its students where they aquire new skills and get once-in-a-lifetime experience. The expeditions are an essential part of Cempaka Awards Scheme which allows students to get partial or full scholarships.

Cempaka Laser-Run and Family Sports Day 2019
A GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEPMT
Cempaka Schools held the largest Laser-Run event in the world as a part of the 35th anniversary of the school.
Students, parents, teachers and school alumni joined to participate in the Laser Run event, which was an official attempt to enter the Guinness Book of World Records and Malaysian Book of Records. A total of 636 participants of all ages (from five to 75) completed the course, which was shaped in the number “35” in recognition of the special anniversary.
The Laser-Run is the latest invention of the UIPM (International Modern Pentathlon Federation). It is an accessible urban sport but also a part of the Olympic Modern Pentathlon. It combines running and laser shooting. The Laser-Run was recently added in the programme of 2019 SEA GAMES.
